Same issue, audition detects all 3 mics when selecting inputs, but only 2 inputs will end up having sound. I connected 3 USB mics through a hub and created an aggregate device using MAC's MIDI setup. Lastly, I tried doing this with as minimal hardware as possible in between. You can select all 3 mics as inputs, but only 2 will give me any kind of sound when monitoring or armed for record. I also tested this out in garage band and found the same exact issue. This of course is not ideal as all 3 inputs become mixed together. However, to Robert's point, if you select stereo mix mode rather than multitrack you can hear all 3 mics via 1 input. When using the H6 as an interface with 3 mics plugged in audition can detect all 3 microphones as individual inputs, but when selected only 2 of them are actually being seen as having some kind of audio or signal when arming for record. I'm late to the discussion on this one, but i'm having similar issues. If I activate the XY mikes of H6 signal on VU meter of H6 is visible AND signal is visible on VU meter of Track 2 (left and right), even though it is set to Mono, input from H6: In 1 only - so what is not happening here? Signal from mike visible on H6 VU meter (only left, as I would expect), not visible on VU meter of Audition Track 2 Track 2 of multitrack in Audition: want to record mike to this track, input H6: In 1, armed for recording

Track 1 of multitrack in Audition: background to recording, input None, output to Master I literally did no more than plug in some monitoring headphones in the headphone output and tried a second time to record of the mike in input 3, but nothing to hear, whilst just a few minutes ago it was recording.Īudio channel mapping: File Channel 1 H6: In 1, File channel 2 H6: In 2
